The ACLAS story: vision, mission and values

The $89 bet on accessible education

ACLAS exists because of a simple observation: the price of a degree has almost nothing to do with the cost of teaching. Everything we do follows from that.

Vision: price stops decidingMission: practical global accessValues: transparency first

The observation

Degrees are overpriced by design

Not by necessity — by structure.

A traditional MBA costs $80,000–$120,000. Almost none of that pays for teaching. It pays for campuses, athletics, administration, marketing, and the prestige economy those things sustain. The teaching itself — structured knowledge, sequenced well, assessed honestly — costs a tiny fraction of the price.

ACLAS was built on that arithmetic: remove the campus, the cohorts, the physical overhead — deliver structured professional education online, self-paced, at scale — and the sustainable price of an MBA is $89, not $80,000. That is not a discount. It is what the product actually costs to deliver.

The values

Three values, in order

When they conflict, the earlier one wins.

Value 1

Transparency

Publish every accreditation — and its limits. Make every credential verifiable in seconds. State plainly where recognition does not extend. A school that hides its boundaries is asking you not to check; we would rather you check everything.

Value 2

Practicality

Teach what working professionals actually use. Our students are employed adults who need applicable knowledge — strategy they can apply Monday, finance they can read in a budget meeting — not academic exercises. Usefulness is the curriculum's organizing principle.

Value 3

Access

Price for the global majority, not the fortunate minority. Accept the payment methods that cross borders — including crypto for students whose banking systems make international payments punishing. If price or payments exclude someone, the mission failed for them.

What we are not We are not a research university and do not pretend to be one. We are not U.S.-federally accredited and say so on every relevant page. We have no campus, no football team, no ivy. What we are: proof that professional education can be excellent, verifiable and affordable at the same time — and that the industry's prices were always a choice.

Questions

About ACLAS

Vision, mission and values — directly.

What is the ACLAS vision?

A world where the price of education stops deciding who gets educated. The vision is structural, not charitable: prove that quality professional education can be delivered at 1% of traditional prices, and the industry has to follow.

What is the ACLAS mission?

To provide practical, career-relevant, fully online education to working professionals worldwide — at prices that don't require debt, with credentials anyone can verify and limits anyone can read.

What values guide ACLAS?

Three, in order: transparency (publish accreditations and their limits, verifiable credentials, no hidden fees), practicality (teach what working professionals use, not what impresses academics), and access (price so the global majority can participate, accept payment methods that cross borders).

Is ACLAS a non-profit?

ACLAS operates as an educational institution with a low-price model, not as a charity. The $89 MBA is sustainable because the cost structure is radically different — no campus, no physical overhead, self-paced delivery at scale. Affordability here is engineering, not subsidy.

Who is ACLAS for?

Working adults worldwide who need structured professional knowledge and a verifiable credential — especially those priced out of traditional higher education. If that's you, the mission was written for you.

Education priced for the global majority

Degrees from USD 89, certificates from USD 39. The mission isn't a poster on a wall — it's the price list.
